The Kiss sock loom is a fixed fine gauge loom.  Gauge runs 7 stitches per inch with number 1 weight yarn. It is adjustable for number of pegs so it will make every thing from baby booties to adult men’s socks. Although it is a fixed gauge loom it does have the pins like the regular kiss so you can use the continuous u-stitch and continuous purl stitch. 

If the sock loom will be your first extra fine gauge loom or first Kiss Loom, we highly recommend starting with the introductory Modular Kiss Loom first to get used to the smaller gauge and the wrapping technique before using the sock loom.  Please note it is quite a jump to go from the Knifty Knitters to the Kiss sock loom. It takes, most of us, a while to get used to working on extra fine gauge, and if you add to that learning a different way to wrap, it could be overwhelming.  Please let us know if you have any questions - we'd be happy to help.
